| The Wild Card Sports, MLB Playoff
Challenge is simple. You choose your
lineup of playoff baseball performers from the
list below. This is your team for the
entire baseball playoffs including the World
Series. Obviously the more games a players
plays in the greater chance he has to score
points, so you want to get the best scoring
players from the teams you think will be in the
World Series. The catch is you can't have
more than 3 players from the same team.
Wild Card Sports will do all the scoring and at
the end of the World Series will crown our own,
MLB Playoff Champion!
The scoring system that will be used is the
following:
Hitting:
Single = 1 point
Double = 2 points
Triple = 3 points
Home Run = 4 points
Stolen Base = 2 points
RBI = 1 point
Run scored = 1 point
Strikeout = -1 points
Game winning RBI = 3 point bonus
Game winning HR = 5 point bonus
Pitching:
Innings Pitched = 1 point each
Strikeout = 2 points each
Earned Runs = -2 points each
Wins = 10 points each
Loss = -10 points each
Saves = 5 points each
Blown Save = -5 points each
